How to find us

We are situated just 10 minutes from Mirambeau, along the estuary. 1 hour from Bordeaux and about 1 hour from La Rochelle. Click on the map to the left to get a larger scale view.

There are airports at Bordeaux www.bordeaux.aeroport.fr  La Rochelle www.larochelle.aeroport.fr  Poitiers and Bergerac www.bergerac.aeroport.fr  You can fly from Stanstead to Bordeaux or La Rochelle or Bergerac with RyanAir www.ryanair.co.uk or Flyby www.flybe.com  and hire a car. Once on the motorway (A10) it is a straight forward route. The following directions are from Junction 37 off the A10.

Take Junction 37 off the A10 heading for Royan, Cozes on the D730. After about 10 to 15 minutes you will enter a small village called Lorignac. You will pass an ELF garage and La Poste on you left. Just after La Poste take the small turning on the left signposted St. Dizant du Gua. You will only be on this road for a minute or two. When it comes to an end turn left still heading for St. Dizant du Gua.

Once you have gone through St. Dizant du Gua, the next villages you enter are Conac, St. Thomas de Conac and our village of St. Sorlin de Conac.

Once in St. Sorlin de Conac you will see a chateau on your right with a barrel outside with bottles on top. Opposite the chateau there is a white building called the Marie and after this building there is a narrow road (Rue des Ajoncs) that you will need to take. This road is between the Marie & the small church/war monument. Once on this road take the first turning on the left, which is our road. We are the 1st house on the right.
